SALT follows Katie, a teenage girl who becomes involved with an older man named Levi. Caught between infatuation and uncertainty, she embarks on a sexual encounter she is unprepared for. Her first experience with oral sex leaves her overwhelmed — like being pulled under by the sea. The film offers a quiet, observational lens on coercion, confusion, and the first time a girl gives more than she understands.
